Overview

In October 2014, Kyoto University, Osaka University and Kobe University decided to establish firm partnerships under the MEXT program ("Building a consortium for developing human resources in science and technology") to cultivate young researchers. With the three universities acting as the core members, the Keihanshin Consortium for Fostering the Next Generation of Global Leaders in Research (K-CONNEX) was established to promote development and securement of excellent young researchers who will lead the next generation by making use of the geographical advantage of the Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe area.

The consortium supports joint studies and personal exchanges with universities, research institutes and private companies in and outside Japan to help self-improvement of employed young researchers. It aims to develop the young researchers into leaders of the next generation in this way, i.e. by assisting them to broaden their outlooks, deepen their knowledge, carry out researches and improve their career prospects in a manner appropriate to their own aptitude.

We would like to inform you that the consortium started recruitment of highly-motivated young researchers as described below. The available posts are explained in detail in the following links. Please read the contents of the corresponding link carefully before preparing application documents, etc.
